Kerið in Grímsnes is a popular spot for tourists. Kerið was made in a volcanic eruption about 5000-6000 years ago, it is 270m long and 170m wide. The crater is 55m deep and on it's bottom is a pond, the depth of the water, depending on the height of ground water, is around 7-14m deep.
Concerts have been held in the bottom of the crater, the nature has made wonderful acoustical circumstances.

Kerið í Grímsnesi er vinnsæll áningarstaður ferðamanna.  Kerið myndaðist í eldgosum fyrir 5000-6000 þúsund árum.
Kerið er 270 m langt og um 170 m breitt. Gígurinn er 55 m djúpur og niðri í honum er tjörn. Dýpt tjarnarinnar fer eftir grunnvatnsstöðu, hún er 7 til 14 m djúp.
Haldnir hafa verið tónleikar  í botni kersins. Enda einstakur hljómburður þar niðri gerður af náttúrunar hendi.
